Vardaan

What is Vardaan?

Vardaan, our in-house research product, is a rooting stimulant for plant cuttings/grafts in the nursery. Vardaan is a combination of biostimulants and plant hormones. In rose grafts, rooting induction starts after 12-14 days after treatment of Vardaan.

Vardaan Application Method

1. Clean the lower half inch of the cutting/stem by dipping it in water. Remove excess water by gently shaking.
2. Dip the cutting/stem in Vardaan and stir for complete coverage at the bottom.
3. Tap the cutting/stem to remove excess Vardaan.
4. Plant the cutting/stem in the media (coco peat).
5. Keep the cutting/stem in nursery by properly maintaining the temperature and moisture/humidity.

Observe the cutting/stem after 14 days for root initiation.

Peculiar Advantages of Vardaan Application

1. Almost 40000 – 45000 plantlets can be dipped in 1 kg Vardaan.
2. Profuse, uniform and strong rooting is observed in almost 95-98% of treated cuttings/grafts.
3. The problem of die-back is effectively controlled in Vardaan treated plants.
4. Root induction takes place not only in the submerged cutting in the coco peat but at the aerial part of the stem from the nearest internodes also.
5. Along with root induction, it also triggers robust shoot growth and development.
